Bring in your clean clothing items that are in good condition to the narthex of our churches. Each church has a bin to collect donated items. The needs depend on the season, and we ask that you bring in clothing for the current season.
Each week a couple of volunteers gather the clothing donations from each narthex. They sort and label each item according to size. This same group of dedicated volunteers takes the clothing each Friday to the center where those in need choose the items they need. Most weeks, all items are gone by noon! There is a great need in our communities, and due to your thoughtfulness and generosity POTHE has been able to consistently help fill that need.
If you have questions about what items are being collected, please contact our parish office: (207) 847-6890 or pothe@portlanddiocese.org.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
