Rite of Election

On March 10, Bishop Deeley celebrated three Masses across our state for those who will be fully received as new Catholics at the Easter Vigil or in the Easter season. Pictured here at the Rite of Election at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland are some of our parish candidates and catechumens with their sponsors, family members and parish catechists: Adult candidate Sarah Thomson and child catechumen Maeve Charles. Unable to attend were Rose Mary Burwell, Victoria Fraser, and Lindy Howe.  Let us, as their parish family, continue to pray for them all.
