Music is an integral component of our worship. Parish of the Holy Eucharist is pleased to offer several styles of music - from folk to chant - to uplift your soul and deepen your communion with the liturgy. Our churches offer choirs of all levels and ages so you are sure to find a home with us. Opportunites for cantoring (proclaiming scripture through song at the Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation) abound. The Director of Music Ministries will provide more information about training and preparation for this special ministry. Are you a teen or adult instrumentalist? Flute, clarinet, trumpet, violin, cello or harp? We would love to know about you! Opportunities for playing exist throughout the year, but especially at Feasts and Holy Days such as Christmas and Easter.

If you are looking to hear any hymn in advance, we have a few suggestions. YouTube has many of them posted and if you search for an OCP recording (the publisher of our hymnals and missals, which stands for Oregon Catholic Press) you will get the session choirs which are very well done and inspiring.
For example: Ubi Caritas by Bob Hurd, is on YouTube as follows: (enter ocp Ubi Caritas Hurd)
