The Music Ministries at the Parish of the Holy Eucharist strive to pray to and praise God through music and song while assisting our worshiping assembly as they strive for "conscious, active and full participation" (General Instruction on the Roman Missal, #18). Although the primary music minister at Mass is the worshiping assembly, the Music Ministry is an essential life-giving element in the spiritual life of the parishioners at Parish of the Holy Eucharist.  

Music is an integral component of our worship. Parish of the Holy Eucharist is pleased to offer several styles of music - from folk to chant - to uplift your soul and deepen your communion with the liturgy. Our churches offer choirs of all levels and ages so you are sure to find a home with us.  Opportunites for cantoring (proclaiming scripture through song at the Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation) abound. The Director of Music Ministries will provide more information about training and preparation for this special ministry. Are you a teen or adult instrumentalist? Flute, clarinet, trumpet, violin, cello or harp?  We would love to know about you!  Opportunities for playing exist throughout the year, but especially at Feasts and Holy Days such as Christmas and Easter.

A Mass of triumphant response by congregation, this mass setting is equally at home
with organ and choir as it is with congregation and guitars.

ADVENT & LENT MASS SETTING  Belmont Mass by Christopher Walker. 
 Its melodic and simple unison line will help quiet your soul and heart during Advent and Lent.  
Introduced Advent 2017, will be sung again Advent 2019/Advent 2020, etc.

ORDINARY TIME I & SUMMER MASS SETTING  Mass of Saint Francis by  
Sung since 2011, this Mass is the only Mass setting known throughout
the entire Diocese of Maine.
