The Oratory is our new offering for middle school and high school students in the Parish of the Holy Eucharist. The name comes from St. Don Bosco’s youth group which he called “the oratory.” Oratory means a place of prayer, but you would not necessarily expect that from looking at Don Bosco’s group. There were games, music, schooling, in addition of course to prayer. Don Bosco saw all these things as means to help those teens get to heaven.
Every other Sunday evening, we will have some kind of game, dinner, and discussion on the faith (middle and high school students will each have their own groups for that.) Our goal is to make the oratory a school of faith, hope, and charity and so help each other on the way to heaven.

Romance is complicated and everyone has opinions about how to do it right. Not surprisingly, God does too.
Over the course of four weeknights, we will cover all the basics. What are these feelings and do I do with them? What are the rules? How do I date? How does marriage work?
Open to children sixth grade and above.
