THANKSGIVING FOR THOSE IN NEED: POTHE will be supporting as many families as possible by working with food pantries that support the same communities as our churches to ensure that Thanksgiving is a bountiful and blessed day! Thanksgiving Basket Donation Signup Genius
We will be gathering food bags for local families. There are lists for donation needs on the table in the narthex as well as envelopes for monetary donations. You may use the sign up Genius form linked below or our WeShare giving format. Cash, checks, and gift card contributions are also always welcome. The Cumberland Food Pantry will also accept donations which can be brought to the Food Pantry at Cumberland Town Hall. Their current needs are listed below.

We welcome donations of pie crust mix to put into 80 food baskets prepared by Yarmouth Food pantry. Please drop off your donations to Yarmouth Food Pantry at First Parish church on Main Street either Tuesday or Friday mornings between 10 AM and 12 Noon by November 18, or place in a non- perishable box at the back entrance to First Parish church on Storer Street. Their deadline is November 18!

We are working with the Community of Caring, and families in need for Thanksgiving have been selected. Thanksgiving food lists will be shared with parishioners beginning Sunday, November 6. Food collection for the Thanksgiving Project will continue until Sunday, November 20. Any remaining food items will be used in food baskets to be included with gifts from the Giving tree.
Freeport Community Services will be providing food to those in need in Freeport and Pownal. Please pick up a grocery bag after Mass and return the bag to the church with the food items by Sunday November 14 or 20. For more information, contact Chris at (207) 712-8127.
