Faith Formation 2023-2024

CATECHESIS
- 4/5-Week Sessions | Friday | HM Early Childhood faith, music, and movement classes following liturgical seasons.
- Monthly | Sunday | HM Our primary catechesis program open to families of all ages. Ideal grades K-8.
- Bi-Weekly | Sunday | SH Modeled after Don Bosco's oratory, this group is for middle and high schoolers.
- Weekly | All Churches Open to adults, this will be a year-long survey of the Catholic faith.
SACRAMENTS
- By appointment Classes for families seeking Baptism for infants and children under the age of seven.
- Monthly | Sunday | HM The first year of the two-year sacramental preparation program. It is open to baptized children grade 1+.
- Weekly | Tues or Sun | SH During this 2nd year, children will make their first Confession, be Confirmed, and receive First Holy Communion.
- Twice Monthly | TBD | TBD Rite of Christian Initiation for Children. Open to any child that desires to become Catholic.
- Weekly | TBD | TBD A class for children who have already made their First Communion but have yet to be Confirmed.
- Weekly | Monday | HM Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. Open to any adult that desires to become Catholic.
LITURGY
- Weekly | Sun. Mass| HM & SGTG Children experience the liturgy of the word during Mass at their own level of understanding. Ideal for ages 3-7.
- All Masses | Periodic Training Open to children who have received their First Communion.
- Weekly | Mon | SH Open to children 3rd grade+. Introduces children to the basics of singing and sacred music with goal of singing the Mass.
FAITH SHARING
- Bi-Weekly | Tuesday | HM A social and play time for homeschool families.
- Weekly | TBD | SGTG A traditional concert band for homeschool students ages 10+.
- Men-Fall | Women-Spring Annual parish-based retreats that offer the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus.
- Weekly | Tuesday | HM One of our small faith sharing groups.
- Weekly | Cathedral | Portland A regional group for young adults (18-35).
- Monthly | Wednesday | HM Times of recollection for Women (morning) and Men (evening) offered by a priest of Opus Dei.
- Weekly | Saturday | SH Our parish men's faith formation group.
- Monthly | Thursday | HM An opportunity for Catholic Mom's to connect.
