NEW DIOCESAN CODE OF ETHICS, REQUIRED READING FOR ALL STAFF, CATECHISTS, AND SACRISTANS/EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
Charity and safety are essential to all relationships in the Church's ministry. The Diocese maintains a Code of Ethics to guide those relationships, so that they inspire people and never undermine their faith.
The Diocese has recently updated this Code. We urge all Catholics to review it, so that you are aware of the standards set for all clergy, Church employees, and volunteers. Yes, it is lengthy, but it must be in order to cover all aspects of relationships in ministry.

Because all clergy, staff, and volunteers are bound by the Code, they are required to acknowledge their acceptance and commitment. If you are a catechist or Eucharistic Minister please read and sign the acknowledgement form as soon as possible. The Code provides an Acknowledgement Form for that purpose. This form must be signed even by those who have signed a similar form in the past
Thank you for your cooperation.
