Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of Mass so that the priest knows you are present to receive the chalice.
We encourage you to gather as a family at some point each day during this week. For each day of the week there is a special intention, a prayer for priests from the Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood (formerly on State Street in Portland), a story about Fr. Gabriel Druillettes, and a prayer for vocations.
We recommend setting up a kind of shrine with the chalice for the week and gathering there for the prayers. The prayer for priests and the vocations prayer can be said together as a family. The story about Fr. Gabriel can be read aloud by a member of the family, preferably the father if possible. We need the sacraments to get to heaven, and we rely on our priests in order to have them. Since so much depends on their ministry, it is very important that we pray for our priests and that we pray that God send us more vocations.

We confirm your requested Mass date, time, and location to receive the chalice for our family week of prayer.
The priest will call your family up to approach the altar before the final blessing to receive the chalice.
Your family returns to your pew with the chalice for the final blessing.
Your chalice will come with a manual that includes your daily prayers.
Return the chalice to any sacristy in out parish at the end of the week.
