Many thanks to all the parishioners who volunteered and gave their time, energy, food and donations toward the party and the gift for Fr. Dan on Saturday June 29. It was a great send-off and a great coming together of our parish as a whole. Fr. Dan was quite taken by the effort and the gift from the parish, a similar chalice to replace his lost ordination chalice.

 

Kudos & bravo! to our so very talented Volunteers & Staff for providing all of the remarkable ingredients for Fr. Dan’s Farewell Mass and Reception on Saturday June 29. To me, as well as countless others, it truly defined POTHE at its very best. One could not escape the energy, careful planning, painstaking detail and warm, electric atmosphere we experienced. Even the heat and humidity did not dampen spirits -- we were all too involved in the joy and gratitude for the opportunity to be there for all that it offered. While thank you seems inadequate, it is very sincere.
